I’m the mother of a wonderful little monster, born from my belly (not hoo-ha) on Sept. 3, 2008. He and his father, a good friend of mine despite the divorce, share a middle name (Aaron) and a weird little cowlick on the back of their heads.
The kid and I — I call him Buggy — live in a great condo in Yorba Linda, where we spend our time solving puzzles and singing songs.
I’m passionate about many things, and easily riled up. I like to think of myself as a good person, but sometimes attempt to use Jedi mind tricks for evil when I encounter jackasses on the freeway.
I’m super geeked out on my iPhone, teh internets, and really bad TV shows. But I read books on paper — not a damn screen — and can quote lines from certain novels and poems, thanks to my CSUF English degree. I have three tattoos I’m obsessively proud of, and plan to obtain more.
I’ve worked at the Orange County Register since I graduated high school in 1999 and honestly love my job — in all its frustrating, crazy newspaper business glory.
Oh, also: I’m probably on a diet.
